Although, at the moment my participation has diminished, the previous weeks I attended every Monday the meetings held in my neighborhood and the meetings at Maipú level on Wednesday. Those experiences made me get closer to my commune and get to know my neighbors better, I could hear their different speeches, their expectations and their organization.
My most complicated days were Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th, especially on Saturday. I committed the irresponsibility of going out to the place of dignity with my sick girlfriend, and the tear gas pumps made her situation worse. Luckily we were able to get home without major inconveniences.
But on Monday, October 21, with my girlfriend better than her health, I went out with her and my best friend to Dignity Plaza, it was a day with a lot of police repression, we had planned to protest on some television channel, but we were made late and we ran out of locomotion, so with my friend we accompanied my girlfriend to her house. We start from Dignity Plaza to Independencia on foot. And once there, we did not want to stay there, thinking that we would get to take a private vehicle, but finally, we had to walk from Independence to Maipú .... In total we walked for 5 hours, and passing Las Rejas subway reached us the touch curfew, but we were able to get home, with fear, but safe.
I don't know how things will continue, it is undeniable that many services have "normalized" but the feeling of struggle and the hunger for justice have also done so.
